Appointments

Serious Medical Emergency?

If you have a serious medical emergency, severe chest pain, serious difficulty with breathing, collapse or profuse bleeding – call 999.

You can book appointments online. To use our online booking you must first register for Online Services.

  • Open Patient Access and book an appointment online, or
  • Telephone 023 9248 2124 or make an appointment in person at Reception
  • Please cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.
  • Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
  • Please make a separate appointment for each member of the family attending

Our aim is to book an appointment for you to see a doctor or nurse practitioner on the day you want to be seen.  We will do our very best to book you with the doctor of your choice but this may not always be possible.

Reception staff are now able to offer patients pre-bookable appointments one month in advance.  We ask that our patients take a flexible approach to booking in advance as we cannot guarantee that the doctor of your choice will be available or have a free appointment on the day you request.

If you experience difficulty making an appointment, please explain the problem to the receptionists and they will do their very best to help you.

In addition to our routine booked appointments we also have the Same Day Clinic which runs daily Monday to Friday.  From 8.20am to 12.30pm there are booked time slots available.  Between 12.30pm and 6.30pm you will be triaged by telephone as to the nature of the emergency.

Making evening and weekend appointments – giving you more choice

GP practices in this area are making it easier for you to make appointments at times which suit you.

From October, 2017 all practices in south east Hampshire, and Fareham and Gosport – including ours – will take part in a new scheme to allow you to make appointments from 8am to 8pm on week days, from 8am to 4.30pm on Saturdays, and on Sunday mornings.

This extends the normal opening hours for surgeries, which until now have usually run until 6.30pm on weekday evenings.

If you do need to see someone, we will be able to offer you an appointment at your local ‘hub’ location – they are located at Petersfield Community Hospital, Waterlooville Health Centre, Havant Health Centre, Fareham Community Hospital and Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

There, you will be seen by a locally-based healthcare professional – the service is led by GPs but also includes other staff such as nurses, or healthcare assistants. The staff can – with your consent – access your medical records, ensuring a high quality service.

Please note: the new extended opening hours is not a walk-in service – you need to make an appointment.

You can make an appointment online, by talking to our surgery staff and booking a slot in the normal way, or – if we are closed and you think you need to see someone more urgently – you can call NHS 111 to ask to make an appointment.
