B-eat   Beat is the leading UK charity for people with eating disorders and their families. Beat is the working name of the Eating Disorders Association.

BFN – Breast Feeding Network  This is a useful website for Breast Feeding Mothers, it aims to be an independent source of support and information for breastfeeding women and those involved in their care. 

DirectGov Health Section    DirectGov is a government run site that provides an A-Z in health care, medical advice and what health oppurtunies you’re entitled to. 

iTalk  Italk is a service that provides free treatement to people suffering from some of the most common mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and stress. The service is open to anyone aged 16 or over and registered with a GP in the lcoal area AND you can self-refer direct to the service if you wish.

NHS Choices   The NHS Choice Website provides users with a diverse range of information to cover a majority of health queries, it also provides up to date health news. 

NHS Direct  The NHS Direct Website offers a wide range of information on a catologue of illnesses. It also includes a telephone service, self help-guide, health enquiry service, health encyclopedia and common health questions.

NHS Evidence  An online library service

Patient UK  The Patient UK Website provides users with a vast database of health information including medication, information leaflets and the choices you’re entitled to.

PBC – Practice Based Commissioning  This site will tell you more about who PBC are and the work that they undertake. PBC is the means by which the Primary Care Clinicians, and the patient population of Havant and Waterlooville can influence the range of health care services delivered to them.

Portsmouth Diabetes  This website has been created with the team from Portsmouth Hospitals, and Diabetes Healthcare professionals from South East Hampshire and Portsmouth City for individuals with diabetes who want to be aware of the services available locally and how best to use them.
